Apparently a $400+ million spending spree, while letting the taxpayers of New York foot the bill for your new Stade Fasciste (while taking a park away from poor people who could never afford to go to games in the first place as a bonus) is all it takes to buy a world series.
I guess that’s the real reason I still prefer football.
